How much does a website cost
The prices below are starting points: the final figure depends on the scope. Timelines assume the copy and photos are ready. I work alone and directly with you, so there is no agency markup in the price.
Starting prices for a finished working site: layout, mobile version, lead forms, SEO setup and hosting are all included.
Website design cost by type of site
Six positions: three kinds of sites, work on an existing site, promotion, and what I do free of charge with any order.
Landing page
Landing page design in one page: hero, benefits, prices, testimonials, lead form. Mobile layout, loading speed and technical SEO are part of the price, not an add-on. The fastest way to test demand or collect enquiries for one specific offer.
Business site
Company website design across several pages: services, about, portfolio, testimonials, contacts with a map. The structure follows search demand — every service gets its own page and ranks on its own. Lead forms with spam protection, multilingual setup, analytics connected.
Online store
Ecommerce website development end to end: catalogue with filters, product pages, cart, online payments and an admin panel where you change goods and prices yourself. Integrations with CRM, inventory software and delivery services when needed. Written in PHP without an off-the-shelf CMS — fast, with no monthly engine fees.
Working on an existing site
Work on a site that already exists: new sections and pages, copy and layout edits, speeding up loading, fixing what broke, moving to another host. I read someone else's code — no rewrite from scratch to make changes. The price follows the scope and is agreed against a concrete task list.
SEO and ads
Getting the site found: technical optimisation, structured data, page speed, keyword research and copy written for real queries. Setting up and running Google Ads — keyword research, negatives and report reviews, not «set it and forget it». I run my own site the same way.
Launch and support
With any site order I register the domain, put the site on a host, set up the SSL certificate and email on your domain — free of charge. The domain and the hosting are paid by you directly to the registrar; that money never goes through me. Sites I launch I keep looking after: advice and help whenever something comes up, with no retainer.
What changes the cost of a website
The starting price buys a working site, not a draft. Beyond that the figure grows with scope — here is exactly how.
Costs more
- Many pages and sections: every new page means its own layout and its own copy.
- A custom design instead of a proven structure: the mockup is drawn from scratch.
- A catalogue with filters, a cart, online payments, a customer account.
- Integrations: CRM, inventory software, payment providers, delivery services.
- Several languages: each version needs its own copy and its own proofreading.
Costs less
- The copy and the photos are ready — nothing to write or hunt down.
- A proven structure fits: hero, services, prices, contact form.
- One page instead of a section: a landing page often solves the whole task.
- No integrations — enquiries arrive by email and messenger.
- One language instead of three: a second version can always be added later.

How long website development takes
The clock starts when the copy and the photos exist. If they do not, we put the content together first, and that adds a few days.
- Landing page from 2 days
- Business site from a week
- Online store from 2 weeks
- Work on an existing site from a day

Frequently asked questions
How much does a complete website cost?
A landing page starts at $400, a multi-page company site at $700, an online store at $1,200. That is the price of a finished working site: layout, mobile version, lead forms, basic SEO setup and hosting.
Why is it cheaper than an agency?
Because you are paying a developer, not an agency. Inside an agency the same work is done by one person like me, but an account manager, an office and a markup sit on top. Here you talk to me directly: question, answer, nothing retold through a third party.
What is included in the price?
Layout of every page, adaptation for phones and tablets, lead forms with spam protection, analytics, technical SEO, hosting setup and SSL. The domain and the hosting itself are paid directly to the registrar — usually a few dollars a month.
Is there a monthly fee?
Not to me. I do not charge a retainer: you pay for the work once. The only recurring cost is the domain and the hosting, and that goes straight to the registrar.
How does payment work?
I am flexible here and fit around you. Half up front and half on delivery works. Splitting a larger project into stages works — you pay for each one as it is handed over. Working with no advance at all works too: I build the whole site, show you the result, and once you approve it I deploy to your hosting and get paid on the fact. Whichever way you are comfortable with.
What if I need changes after delivery?
Changes within the agreed scope are included: the site is finished when you are happy with it. New sections and later improvements are quoted separately, starting at $200.
Do you work on an existing site?
Yes. Edits, new sections, speeding things up, fixing what broke — all of that I do inside someone else's code, with no rewrite from scratch. The price depends on the scope and starts at $200.
How long does development take?
A landing page takes from two days, a company site from a week, an online store from two weeks. The clock starts when the copy and the photos are ready.
